Installation Support
Rate: $80 per hour + materials costs (3-hour minimum per site visit)
Included Services (As Needed):
- Chemical-Free Site Prep: Manual invasive plant removal and sod removal, soil loosening, and the application of natural soil amendments (compost).
- Planting & Staging: Layout and proper installation of all native plant material according to the design plan.
- Deer Fence Installation: Setting up protective netting and stakes immediately post-installation to secure your new investment.

Note: Project sizes are limited to a single zone up to 500 sq. ft. per booking. Heavy clay, extensive rock removal, or thick tree roots may require additional labor time.

Garden Softscape Design
Rate: $270
Covers any single garden bed up to 500 square feet.
Requires a 60-75 minute site visit for measurements and site evaluation.
For larger yards or multi-zone projects, I can provide a custom quote based on the total footprint.
Deliverables include:
- Hand-drafted garden design, to scale, with species key
- Estimated plant cost totals

I specialize in designing beautiful, functional gardens using native plants, trees, shrubs, grasses, and thoughtfully planned mulched pathways. My designs focus on planting composition, habitat creation, and the overall experience of the space.
I do not design or install hardscape elements such as patios, retaining walls, paver walkways, decks, or irrigation systems.
Note: I can work with other landscape contractors for larger projects that include hardscaping. (See my B2B Collaboration Service below.)
Design Staging
Rate: $100 per 500 sq. feet
I will physically arrange potted plants and plugs on site according to your finalized garden design before digging and planting begin. This sets you and/or your contractors up for smooth, accurate planting.
Garden Stewardship & Vacation Care
Rate: $80 per hour (2-hour minimum)
Native gardens require knowledgeable care, not just clearing. I offer eco-friendly stewardship to protect and nurture your ecosystem while you are home or traveling.
Available Services:
- Vacation Monitoring: Watering, adjusting deer protection, checking plant health, and weeding while you are away.
- Ecological Pruning: Meticulous trimming, deadheading, and seasonal cut-backs done at the correct botanical intervals for wildlife and plant health.
- Native Relocation: Expertly dividing and transplanting overcrowded perennials to expand your garden beds.
- Targeted Invasive Removal: Manual, chemical-free extraction of invasive weeds before they choke out your native species.
